Flappy's Souls

Made for Flappy Jam.

A homage to the early CRPGs, like Akalabeth. They inspired such a sense of adventure, scale, and mystery. I was too young to really get them - so they seemed really complex and arcane. Not many games hold these qualities today - Dark Souls does.

My idea was to make a really retro, borderline broken, CRPG. I had a blast making it.

Unzip and run. Recommended to run in 800x600. Don't use 640x480 - some UI will be off-screen.
